Unh Housing Agreement

A resident can act as a guarantor if he can prove, in accordance with the rental agreement, that he has an income greater than three times the rent. The student is responsible for the behavior of his guests, the damage caused by his guests and the information of customers about the rules of the room. Guests are not admitted to university accommodation without the prior permission of all students in the room/apartment where they are staying. Overnight guests should not stay more than two nights in a week. No more than ten people can be in a residence room or between 13 and 24 people in an apartment, depending on the apartment, at the same time, by order of the Durham Fire Department. All other requests for release from this Agreement are not accepted and are calculated with a cancellation fee in accordance with the cancellation plan in the Room and Catering Agreement. Non-renewal (including moving off campus or shuttle to your home), non-academic suspension, expulsion, exclusion, termination of contract by a student are not permitted and do not incur any cancellation or refund fees for the price listed below in cancellation fee plan B for the fall and spring semesters. The Department of Housing does not collect or ask for a deposit if a resident accepts accommodation on campus. Instead, we count for every incident that occurs.

We are convinced that this promotes the feeling of ownership of the building by the occupants and improves everyone`s ability to control costs. Madbury Commons is a new definition of student housing. The unique downtown apartments are designed and furnished exclusively for UNH students. Payments are due on the 1st of each month, in accordance with the payment plan set out in the lease agreement. All residents need a surety to conclude the warranty contract. The typical rental period is about 11.5 months of occupancy, which corresponds to the academic calendar of the university. A total amount of rent is charged to the occupant for the contractually agreed occupancy period. The lease agreement reflects the total amount of rent, which is usually divided into 12 equal tranches due from August 1 to July 1. These payments are not a monthly amount of rent and will not be paid on a pro rata basis. The guarantor must sign the guarantee contract. If the resident is not of legal age to perform a contract, the guarantor must sign both the lease and the guarantee contract.

An individual lease offers each resident their own separate lease and responsibility for their prevailing rents and parking fees. By signing an individual rental agreement, you only take responsibility for your rents and rental conditions and you will not be held responsible for any overdue amounts due from your roommate.. . . .
